Make sure you're ready for the Mobile Disco with our guide!


Check out Carl & Erics check list of what you need to bring on the day ahead of Mobile Disco on Saturday!

  • TICKET - You’ll need to either bring a print out of your ticket, or be able to show it on your phone. Best to have a hard copy if you’re phone screen is cracked!

  • PHOTO ID - Everyone entering the Mobile Disco will need to show Australian Government Issued Photo ID to get inside. This includes a current drivers license, passport, proof of age card or key pass. Unfortunately we cannot accept photos of IDs, birth certificates or verbal promises that you’re over 18.

  • NO CASH - Mobile Disco is a completely cashless event. Every bar and food truck will only accept card payment. Your card will need to have a chip to use the Square system, and you can either tap, swipe or insert.

  • PACK WELL - There are no pass outs on the day, so you’ll need to have everything you need on you when you enter. There is a cloak room available if you need it.

  • BAG POLICY - All bags brought into the Mobile Disco must be 20xm x 30cm or smaller. For reference, that’s around an A4 piece of paper. There’s images below for clarification.

  • APPETITE - We’ve got a food truck envoy rolling into the Botanical Gardens, with Super Bao, Chef’s Kitchen & Fricken Chicken cooking up a storm. They’ll have vego, vegan and gluten free options as well.

  • ENERGY - The legends will be playing dynamite dance floor tracks for eight hours straight!


Alongside the musical feast of Carl Cox & Eric Powell, you’ll also find;

Carl & Erics Mobile Disco is taking place in the iconic Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra on November 24th.

Doors open at 1pm and the event will wrap up at 9pm.

Make sure you know what you can bring into Carl & Eric’s Mobile Disco and what you need to leave at home. Here is the full list of banned items that won't be allowed inside. Take a read and make sure your entry experience is a breeze.

  • Bags larger than 20cm x 30xm (around the same size as A4 paper) and one per person for security reasons. Anything bigger won’t be allowed into the festival.

  • Alcohol (fully stocked bar available inside)

  • Illegal substances

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Glass of any kind (including perfume & make up bottles)

  • Chairs

  • Signs and totems

  • Pressurised gases

  • Flares, fireworks and sparklers

  • Cans and aerosols

  • Metal containers, including water bottles

  • Liquid of any kind

  • Creams over 110mL (this includes sunscreen over 110mL)

  • Make-up in glass containers (anything not in glass is OK)

  • Prescription medication without the label showing your name that matches your photo ID

  • Loose medication (including over the counter medication). First aid tents will have most over-the-counter medication available such as Panadol, aspirin, antihistamines. You can ask your local pharmacist to place a label with your name on it on any over the counter medication, which will then be allowed inside the event

  • Video and audio recording devices, including GoPros & drones (other than mobile phones)

  • Professional still cameras (small cameras ARE allowed, fits in your pocket? Its OK!)

  • Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as guide dogs)

  • Promotional material of any kind including flags

  • Vapes & E-Cigs

  • Umbrellas (please use a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead if required)

  • Chairs (including camping chairs, crates etc). Picnic rugs are fine!

  • Any items determined as dangerous by Security or Event Staff
