DMC World DJ Championship at the unbelievable age of 15, Kanye West’s production partner and former tour-DJ and supremo of the much respected Fool’s Gold label alongside Nick Catchdubs, he is one man who does not look over his shoulder. With his sets laden with goodies for young and old, effortlessly flipping genres and dropping classics at breakneck speed, this Canadian tastemaker is the undisputed king of making you shake it.
MSTRKRFT
If The Looks rocked your world in 2006 then Fist of God, MSTRKRFT’s long-awaited sophomore album, will knock you out like a Mike Tyson right-hook. Using the vocal stylings of coveted artists like Ghostface Killah, John Legend, N.O.R.E and Lil’ Mo is as innovative a move as it is ingenious. It’s plain to see that these boys are not only masters of their craft, but will make headbangers and hip-shakers do unimaginable things on the dancefloor.

Canadian DJ/producer Tiga has become the electro-clash pinup and dance-floor maverick of modern times. Tiga delivered a cover of Corey Hart’s classic Sunglasses At Night with Finn Zyntherius and of Nelly’s Hot In Herre as well as an incredible list of anthems, including Pleasure From The Bass, You Gonna Want Me and Far From Home. Combining pop, electro, techno, house, acid and a bucket load of kitsch, his 2009 album Ciao! has so far brought us Mind Dimension 2, Shoes and What You Need and seems unrelenting in its quest for world domination.
