OFFICIAL FORESHORE AFTER PARTY - SAT 26 NOVEMBER
Foreshore festival is fast approaching and Alliance at Academy proud to announce the return of the infamous Official Afterparty!
After you've wrapped up a great day at Foreshore, head down to Academy Nightclub for one of the most notoriously huge parties in the Canberra calendar.
The Stafford Brothers, Katalyst (DJ set) and Bombs Away plus some very special surprise guests, will be bringing the party straight from Foreshore to Academy on Saturday night.
You never know who's going to turn up at the Official Foreshore Afterparty!
THE STAFFORD BROTHERS
As for DJ performances, the Stafford Brothers have entered a league of their own, regarded as the ultimate fun loving, party starting, anything goes champions of the stage. In 2010 they were announced as the official support act for The Prodigy on their Australian stadium tour and shortly after were announced as one of the 2011 Future Music Festival's headliners. But the mother of all achievements came in the form of the visual kind when Australia’s biggest cable network Fox8 announced the premier of ‘The Stafford Brothers’, their very own reality TV show.
KATALYST (DJ Set)
Producing since the mid nineties, Sydney based Ashley Anderson initially recorded under the moniker of Moonrock with the late Illpickl, releasing a self titled album in early '98 to critical acclaim, and went on to contribute tracks to the internationally renowned "Cafe Del Mar". Katalyst as a solo artist had his first release on the internationally respected, "Dope on Plastic" compilation.
BOMBS AWAY
Australian Partyboys and all-round Bad Role Models, BOMBS AWAY, are one of the few acts to hold down 5 concurrent places & Top 10's on ARIA, iTunes, Beatport, Djdownload, Djtunes, and DjTunes charts, along with Swagger & now Supersoaker rocking high rotation play across the world.
Doors open at 9pm and entry is $15 with a Foreshore wristband and more without.
