Block Party – The End of Something Great... For now

It is with great regret that we advise that Block Party at Trinity Bar, Dickson 2009 was the final Block Party for the foreseeable future.

By utilising an extremely unique location, Friction & Lexington Music have encountered a wide range of operational difficulties that have meant we can no longer proceed with the event. As a result, representatives of both Lexington Music and Friction Event Management felt that if future shows were to go ahead it would not meet the high standards expected by patrons of their events.

Friction & Lexington are particularly disappointed as this event has helped raise over $25,000 for charity. Friction & Lexington Music would like to thank local residents, businesses and friends who made this unique event possible over the last three years. Particular mention would like to be made to Trinity Bar, Ray White Strata Management and Sfoglia Café for their support. With out these organisations donating valued support and time this event would not have gone ahead.

Friction & Lexington Music truly hope that there is opportunity to produce more charity events in the future for the ACT community. In the mean time check out the photos from many of our charity events and events we have supported.
