Former member of Underworld and the man behind prominent house label Underwater Records, Darren Emerson will make a flying visit to Australia after mixing his third CD in the Global Underground series for exclusive club show at Academy!!!  Kicks Entertainment, Lollygag and Academy will bring you a club night to remember! 

Emerson’s dance music credentials are undisputed. As a label owner he’s broken many seminal club classics and as a post-Underworld producer he’s branched out, with work including the memorable little Balearic smash with Sasha, Scorchio.  Emerson founded Underwater Records in 1994 and took the opportunity to concentrate on the label by signing up acts such as Tim Deluxe and Gus Gus. Emerson also released two Global Underground compilations, completed numerous remixes as well as a handful of singles on Underwater. 

Underwater went on to become a well established brand with highly successful club nights running in Ibiza, London and beyond. The label is now approaching it's 100th release and Emerson continues his unrelenting DJ schedule.
