The 2011 Foreshore Sound Search has been a huge success. We saw a record number of artists enter in the compeition and an overwhelming amount of public votes.
Each live final offered up some amazing local talent that made the judges jobs harder then ever.

This year saw the introduction of the Sound Search Wild Cards, which were given out to acts that blew the judges away, but did not score enough to win. The winners of the Sound Search Wild Cards were Little Napier, Pleased to Jive You and Streetlight Parade.
A massive thank you to all the Foreshore Sound Search finalists for 2011!
Special mention goes out to the runners up, ZACC, MANNEQUINS, and THE SURGE who all impressed the judges with their preformances.
